Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Warning

edit

Hi 134.69.198.198! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Grandmaster 18:48, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Word of reason

edit

ANI/RfC are not voting systems, votes like this or like here by IP address add very little value to discussion, and in fact, weaken any serious arguments that may be brought by other users, while annoying admins. I thereby encourage you to 1) get registered, 2) edit in less contentious topics first, before moving to controversial topic such as Armenia-Azerbaijan 3) refrain from RfCs, AfDs and ANIs in this topic until you get the gist of what is right and what is wrong thing to do in this very sensitive topic. I hope you take this peer advice this constructively. If you are seeing this only because you share the same IP but have not done any of the above, please ignore tis message. Best wishes, --Armatura (talk) 08:04, 17 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ClassicYoghurt, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
