December 2021 edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Country. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. You are also adding similar information to other related articles. You must discuss your points about article content on the talk pages Robynthehode (talk) 10:27, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
No I didn't. All I did was to restore reliable sources and wikilinks deleted with no reason given, and to revert attempts to lump together references/citations for illustration of different things. Please choose the right version when you are trying to put an edit dispute on hold. Meanwhile it kinda meaningless to send me such a warning while you are already responding to my messages in that article's talk page and that you already know I am talking there. What's the point to warn then? 112.120.39.238 (talk) 10:38, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
The warning is because you are persisting in reverting edits by me and other editors. Read WP:WAR and understand it. You are edit warring. You are making edits contrary to WP:BRD. The fact you are engaging somewhat on talk pages doesn't mean you can revert edits or re-add the same content because you think you are correct in doing so. The talk pages are there to help resolve edit disagrements and you have been clearly asked by a number of editors to engage on talk pages. Read WP:TALK. This has now got to the point with your edits that any further edits by you without consensus WP:CONSENSUS will be seen as disruptive editing and a reason to report you to admins. You also need to read about reliable sources WP:RS because the one you used for stating that Bremen is a micro-state is unreliable. Learn about Wikipedia protocols and then editing and dispute resolution will be easier for all concerned. Robynthehode (talk) 13:20, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
That was because reliable sources were deleted for no reason, and whole sentences in between unrelated sources were deleted repeatedly. These are disruptive edits which should be reverted and won't be considered edit warring by any definition. Please do spend some time to go through the edit history before charging me for something which I never did. 112.120.39.238 (talk) 08:33, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have provided the link to the edit warring protocol. In the first paragraph of that article it states 'An editor who repeatedly restores their preferred version is edit warring, regardless of whether those edits are justifiable. Claiming "My edits were right, so it wasn't edit warring" is not a valid defense.' This is clearly what you are stating above and what you have been doing and you are wrong. The correct thing to have done is to have gone to the talk page and queried why your edits were reverted. Its as simple as that. You haven't even addressed my point about reliable sources (in reference to your edit adding that Bremen is a 'micro-state'). You have some more reading to do re Wikipedia protocols. I did not warn you without what I thought good reason but you seem to just think whatever you do is correct. Maybe you're wrong. Talk pages allow discussion of these matters.
