Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:50, 31 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

What do you want? edit

Why do you keep going after me and everything I say on Talk:Chelsea Manning? I was already exhausted when I wrote that request for civility and request that people do their own research instead of expecting trans folks to answer every argument for them. And then you stepped in and added your little comments to everything I said, and demanded that I answer every argument for you. Well, in the course of the discussion, I think I've already addressed a great many things, more than enough to answer your questions, if not all at once and if not in the way you demand. What do you want? 173.66.211.53 (talk) 01:06, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I want you to convince me I'm wrong or put up with asking you over and over, and pointing out why I disagree. "Well, in the course of the discussion, I think I've already addressed a great many things" you attempted to defend your view to me once, and then gave up trying to convince me when I explained why I disagreed

I am feeling very sick, and you can do your own research. 173.66.211.53 (talk) 01:18, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please, sign your posts. edit

You just need to type for tildes. Like this, without the spaces: "~ ~ ~ ~", and your post will be signed. If you don't, occasionally sinebot will miss your comment and it will go completely unsigned, AND even if sinebot doesn't miss your comment, the rest of us still have to deal with the fact that your comment is going to be edited again shortly after it is posted, meaning we have to deal with edit conflicts, which are something of a pain. Thanks! Cam94509 (talk) 20:08, 1 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

September 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Michaelzeng7. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Michaelzeng7 (talk) 23:17, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style, you may be blocked from editing. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:22, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:25, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

109.151.144.40, the only reason why you are being undone for your edits is because the title of "Obsolete personal name in title" is shorter than the one you want used, come on lets discuss this rather than you going off here. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:27, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

the new title doesn’t convey what I wanted the section to be about, think of title that conveys the question not just the general subject matter

Edit warring is not the answer though can you put your question in with what you are trying to say? You got people's attention by it or else nobody would have commented. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:43, 2 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

what is the answer?

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. -sche (talk) 00:02, 3 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for attempting to harass other users. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:46, 3 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I don't think I harassed anyone (that is to say by your standards not mine), I got into an editing war which I gave up on over an hour ago as I was afriad of being blocked. is this because of that or something else? if so what? 109.151.144.40 (talk) 01:14, 3 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This [1] is harassment. Only a mild form and your block is correspondingly short. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 15:46, 3 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Talk pages are for discussing content, not contributors.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:11, 3 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
