January 2024 edit

Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you recently removed content from Shia view of Aisha without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Okay, I just thought that the paragraph misrepresented the Shia view since it heavily implied Shias believed Aisha committed adultery and that Ali (a) believed that and this was a source of dissent between the two, from what I know Ali (a) never implied such a thing nor is Aisha believed to have done it, even though some Shia opinions believe the verses were revealed for Maryam (another wife of the prophet). Next time I’ll try to replace parts of the text with stronger references rather than remove them completely
this might be a better example of what to put there however I am not personally an expert on the subject and it might be better to ask a Shia individual who has more expertise:

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Shia view of Aisha, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 05:02, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
