July 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User:DanielUmel, is considered bad practice, even if you meant it well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. __meco (talk) 15:16, 18 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • What are you talking about? That's the user's user page not talk page.
I did notice that. Why didn't you simply move it to the talk page? __meco (talk) 09:48, 19 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Death of Abdulredha Buhmaid edit

The article is still in my userspace and honestly I don't plan to work on it for a while. If you are so eager to develop it, you might as well start a new article. Reliable sources can be found here. The material in "Background" section is taken from this article. Mohamed CJ (talk) 14:14, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Ok ... If it's not too much for you, could you please insert the names of baby martyrs into this article? بحرآني (talk) 15:23, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • I will add them if you provide a reliable source (not Facebook or Twitter links). Mohamed CJ (talk) 19:46, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

August 2012 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for vandalism on Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, as well as disruptive editing in support of vandals [1]. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Speedy deletion nomination of Template:بحارنة edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page that you created was tagged as a test page and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.

By the way, I understand that you were trying to create a userbox, but the page name should have been in English characters. Also, I saw that you were trying to figure out how to make some part of the userbox red. For hexadecimal color codes such as the one you were trying to figure out, I recommend using http://html-color-codes.com/ as a reference. #CC0033 is this shade of red. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
