A belated welcome!

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, עומר בן יעקב. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! –Ammarpad (talk) 22:07, 18 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Two requests

edit

In the future, please do not use previous versions of comments from the page history and represent them as comments that have been replied to in discussions as you did in your recent op-ed for Haaretz. Any comments are publicly available, but it is false that this was the comment that editors replied to - editors are not allowed to refactor comments after they have been replied to, and it is very confusing that the comment quoted in your article is different from the one on the discussion page. My second comment is, if you feel it is relevant to refer to my nationality in future articles that you may write, please note that I am Turkish-American. Thank you, Seraphim System (talk) 01:18, 11 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

On a second note, and perhaps even more seriously, unless something has changed Icewhiz has recently told me that he considers being identified as Israeli to be a form of WP:OUTING, so I would like to know if he is comfortable with the article being linked to in on-wiki discussions? You may perhaps find this discussion interesting. It will be archived sooner or later, but you probably know how to find it then. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 23:31, 14 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I don't know if you're watching this page

But if you do, Wikipedia:Community response to the Wikimedia Foundation's ban of Fram may interest you as a WP-scholar. It's intense. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 11:39, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Maybe interesting. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:26, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
