Welcome! edit

Hi, Профессор кислых щей, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question.

However, there is a small issue with your username. As it is not in Latin script, it may not display correctly for many other users. Although usernames like yours are not prohibited, Wikipedia's signature guideline and username policy encourage you, as a courtesy to other users, to alter your signature so that it also includes a transliteration of your username using Latin characters, so others can see it correctly. For the how-to of tailoring your username, please see WP:CUSTOMSIG.

Thanks, and feel free to message me about anything. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 16:09, 30 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

81.89.66.133 (talk) 11:19, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Learning Wikipedia Etiquette and Rules of Editing edit

There is a fundamental principle of editing Wikipedia enshrined in WP:BRD. First, be Bold and make an edit. Then, if your edit violates WP:CONSENSUS, WP:RS or is otherwise unacceptable, your edit may be Reverted. If your edit is reverted DO NOT just put it back or delete the original text, go to the Talk Page, open a new topic for discussion and then Discuss it. Sometimes, if your arguments and evidence are strong enough, you will convince other editors of your position and then build a new consensus for your edits. Sometimes you will fail in that endeavor. But you do not edit the article until the Talk Page discussion has come to an agreement on a deletion, addition, or a new text. You do NOT discuss the issue in edit summaries by continuing to edit when another editor has reverted your edit to the original version. Talk it out on the Talk Page, not in edit summaries. If your new edit is reverted to the previous version, you go to the Talk Page, not to the revert button. TaivoLinguist (Taivo) (talk) 21:22, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you edit

Thank you for adding a proper mention of "Fyodorov's Avtomat" to the page on assault rifles without having to deal whether it is one or not - it's a "WWI design", a "predcessor" but it has some use to the article. Good job. 81.89.66.133 (talk) 09:22, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
