I'm a casual wikipedian with a more than casual interest in British, Russian and Eastern European militaries, culture and history as well as being a Formula 1 fanatic. I also have some knowledge with wiki formatting after creating and editing an abundance of other articles on other wikis relating to my hobbies (which include writing and artwork).

I intend to primarily trundle around Wikipedia, making little alterations and fixing code errors as I go. One of my larger aims, dependent on time and ability, is to translate Russian wikipedia articles across into their English equivalents, if said English pages are in need of substantial expansion.

To me Wikipedia is fun, accessible and informative. I will try and leave the more serious stuff to those who find or take it more seriously.
