Liang Jinhui (Chinese: 梁锦辉; born 3 January 1999) is a Chinese footballer who plays as a forward or defender.
Club career
editBorn in Hefeng, Nanzhuang Town, Foshan, Chancheng District, Guangdong, Liang first took an interest in football in the third grade.[2][3] He would go on to play for an amateur side in Chancheng District, before representing the provincial team.[3] In 2014, he signed for Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, going on to represent Guangzhou at the Youth Games the following year.[4]
He signed for Portuguese club Cova da Piedade alongside fellow Chinese player Su Zitao in 2017.[2][5] In June 2019, during the summer break in Portugiese football, Liang returned to his middle school to coach young footballers there, as well as share the story of his own career.[6]
International career
editLiang represented China at the 2013 Asian Youth Games.[3] He was called up to the under-19 squad in 2015.[2]
Personal life
editLiang supports English club Manchester City, and lists Sergio Agüero as one of his footballing idols.[3]
