Emmanuel Muvhango was born in Alexander, in Gauteng Province, South Africa,The 2nd of four children. His mother later moved to Musina[5] in Limpopo Province , a neighborhood in Musina (Phase 9) and he grew up under Gang influences with his childhood friend PPP Rapper , from whom Muvhango lived in same street. Young Ttyl has told interviewers that he got shot[6] when he was (9) years old on his chest, While he was involved in a Gang fight. [6] He started rapping at the age of eleven, having been influenced by the kind of lifestyle he was living.
Between 2008 and 2011 Young Ttyl dropped his first mixtape song tittle (Beginning) and gave it away for free to the streets.

Yes, Since 2003 when he starting his first year in school at Makushu Primary School[7] and 2011 when his doing first year at Renaissance High[8] school.
