Crusader Kings (video game series) is a series of historical grand strategy games for Windows, published by Paradox Interactive and originally developed by Paradox Development Studio. The first game was Crusader Kings, released in 2004. Three total games within the series have been released so far as of March 29 2022.

editThe series is widely known as a dynasty simulator. The games in the series are set in the Middle Ages, in which a player controls amedieval dynasty from 1066 to 1453.
Crusader Kings
editThe first game in the series was released in April 2004 for Microsoft Windows. It featured three scenarios in the game, namely: the Battle of Hastings (1066), the Third Crusade (1187), and the Hundred Years' War (started in 1337).

Paradox announced on March 17 2022, CK3 had surpassed the 2 million copies sold mark, with also "Royal Court" the first major expansion has sold over a 1 million copies.[1]
