Porto Montenegro

Porto Montenegro is a superyacht luxury marina and a nautical village located in the city of Tivat. It is one of the most luxurious marinas on the coast of the Adriatic. The complex entails a marina (450 berths for yachts from 12 to 250 meters long), private residences, business premises, retail units, a  5-star Hotel "Regent Porto Montenegro", a naval heritage collection museum with valuable historic exhibits, located in the reconstructed building of the former Austro-Hungarian sawmill, Porto Montenegro Yacht Club, Sports Club, International School "Knightsbridge School International Montenegro", and many more venues.

History

The construction was carried out on the site of the former Naval Technical Overhaul Institute "Sava Kovačević", popularly known as the Arsenal. This notable place was put up for public auction in 2006 and was bought by a Canadian philanthropist Mr Peter Munk. Since 2016, the project has been acquired by the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).

Marina

Porto Montenegro marina is located in the Bay of Kotor, the largest bay of the Adriatic Sea (87 km²). After the last expansion, the marina can currently accommodate yachts up to 250m in length. The current capacity of the marina is 450 berths, with a total of 850 planned until the end of the project, while 311 will be specifically designated for superyachts. Marina Porto Montenegro has been awarded by: ACREW "Best marina for superyachts in the world", "TYHA Platinum Marina Award", "5 Gold Anchor Platinum" and TYHA "Clean Marina accreditation". The marina includes the sailing squadron as well as the crew club.

Residences and hotels

Porto Montenegro settlement was built in the style of the traditional Montenegrin towns. The apartments in the settlement are of different types: studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom apartments and penthouses located in exclusively designed buildings, up to 5 floors high.

The first part of the project called "South Village" was finalized in 2020 and consists of 7 buildings (Teuta, Zeta, Ozana, Milena, Tara, Ksenija and Elena) with a capacity of 230 residences, Regent Pool Club (Aqua and Baia) with a capacity of 129 residences and Hotel Regent Porto Montenegro with a capacity of 86 rooms.

The next part of the project is "Boka Place", a new village that is currently under construction, the completion of the project is expected in 2024. Upon completion of the project, the new part of the village will have 69 private residences and 144 residences that will be managed by Hotel Siro.

Shops and restaurants

Porto Montenegro retail facilities combine local products and high-end international brands. Shops are grouped in the zone with designer fashion boutiques arranged around "Venice Square". There is currently over 3,500 square meters of retail space with cafes and restaurants offering Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican and Chinese cuisine. The village also has a bakery, bank, supermarket, hair salon and spa center, yacht brokers and marine services.
