Old Vermillion County Grandstands

Vermillion County Grandstands is located in Cayuga, Indiana. Part of the Vermillion County Fair Ground campus, it is home to various activities such as demolition derbeys, pagents, and races. The Grandstands will open in 2018 after consrtuction is complete. It replaced the Old grandstands the burned down in January of 2016.

Originally named Vermillion County Fair Grandstands On January 26, 2017, the old wooden grandstand at the Vermillion County Fairgrounds was destroyed by a massive fire. The wooden grandstand was built in 1933 as a WPA work project, and was the oldest wooden grandstand in Indiana at the time of the fire. The Cayuga Fire Department said that the cause of the fire is arson.
