United Women's group

Kirembe United Women’s group was started in 1998, this women’s group sits at Kirembe Trading Centre and has worked with AFODE for the last 2 years. The group is composed of 34 members of whom 25 are female, 9 are male and among these 5 are youth. They are majorly a Village Savings and Loan Association group who meet every Thursday in addition to owning:

goats
Bee hives
piggery unit

With support from AFODE the group has received 300 liners and 105 solar kits.
