Vitamen-J was born in the UK in 1979. He moved to America when he was 3 and by the age of fifteen, he was participating in Rap Battles with seven of his friends. With these same friends he formed the Happy Flower Gang, aka T.H.F-G's. The Happy Flower gang were a Rap/Hip-hop Group who realesed three album's in the mid 90's. Not one of the three albums had any comercial success leading to the break-up of the group and the suicide of two of the members. In 1996 VitamEn-J decided to take another attempt at the music career realising a solo album called "VitamEn-J on Display". The album only sold around 100 copies and no longer exists, although it can still be purchased online from sites such as Trade Me and eBay. In 1999 the remaining members of the Happy Flower Gang had a reunion in which They went on tour around America. This soon ended because they had very small audiences and were making very little money. At this point there manager David Strongman quit and went to work for Nintendo. Then in 2000 one of The Happy Flower Gang was killed in a drive-by by a gang called the Verrry-Cheerrrry players. This lead VitamEn-J into great depression. During this time he made a new EP called "i am Emotionally dEad". The album had only six songs, two of which were about the death of his friends. The album was never released due to poor funding. In 2002 VitamEn-J wrote a book about his life called "ThE only vitamEn u nEEd is J". the book was self published and sold very few copy's. In 2004 VitamEn-J was aressted for theft. He was acussed of stealing Rolexes from a jeweler. he was released on June 7th, 2006. At the moment he is rumored to be making a new album with The Happy Flower Gang.
