Telaga Warna is a small mountainous lake located on the foot of Mount Pangrango near Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park, West Java, Indonesia. It is located about 60 km south of Jakarta. The lake is named after its ability to seemingly change color. However, despite its proximity to Mount Pangrango, the change isn't caused by volcanic activities but rather due to Najas graminea reacting to varying levels of sunlight[2]. A 5 hectare conservation area encompasses the lake and its surrounding forests. The conservation area is used as a nature tourism destination. There are several resorts and restaurants built nearby.
