There are a few notable graduates that have graduated from Maranatha High School.

Dylan Covey (Class of 2010) was drafted 14th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers in the first round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] However, Covey did not end up signing with the Brewers as his physical for the team revealed that he had developed Type 1 Diabetes. Covey is now playing baseball for the University of San Diego.[2]

Todd Worrell (Class of 1977) was drafted in the first round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft out of Biola University, Worrell was a three time All-Star who pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals (1985–1989, 1992) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (1993–1997).[3]
