Is it really necessary edit

To say "fuck that" in an edit summary? I'm trying to diffuse this dispute and get the issues resolved amicably, things like that don't help. - Crockspot 17:24, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Replied on your talk page. --Tractorkingsfan 17:34, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Left you a further reply there. - Crockspot 18:03, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Tractorkingsfan, in writing, it is totally acceptable to insert an edit into a quote, as long as you make it clear you made an edit, i.e., the brackets. Some of the quotes used in this article make strong UNPROVEN statements, and the way the quotes are used puts the article into a POV status. However, do you have a better way of making those edits? Hey Gang edit

He had it right; now running my own bar. Difficult, but fun as hell. That, and me and my longterm girlfriend split; that made making time for this difficult. Should've said something to you guys though. Anyway, I'll be editing again. Liked it too much to give it up. Cheers, --Tractorkingsfan 05:45, 11 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
