Fruitflow is a neutraceutical, produced from an aqueous extract of tomato it is a lycopene-free and fat-free water-soluble tomato concentrate (WSTC). It is manufactured in liquid form (WSTC I) and powder form (WSTC II)and recognised as GRAS by the American Food and Drug Administration(2)

Fruitflow was invented by Dr Asim Duttaroy whilst at the Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health of Aberdeen University.[3]

Fruitflow was, in 2009 the first product to receive approval from the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) under Article 13(5) opening the claim of “helps maintain normal platelet aggregation”4
