Dhokha is an upcoming Indian murder mystery series which will premiere on 12 June 2021. It will air on weekends in Hindi on Star Bharat and in English on Star Life at 18:00.
The show will star Mohit Raina and Krissann Barretto in lead roles as Inspector Rahul Jain and Doctor Ruchi Kaul.
The show will be about Rahul a man with a split personality that even he does not know about. The good Rahul is a police inspector looking for a serial killer. The evil Rahul is the serial killer and is getting revenge for his father's death.
It will be the first original of StarLife where it will be dubbed in English as Betrayal.

Plot
editRahul Jain is a Police Inspector. His mother abandoned him at a young age and his father passed on 2 months ago. Since then, he has been distracting himself with case 148 which is about a serial killer who shoots people in the heart and then leaves them in a bin packet outside a hospital. At night, his evil side comes out where it is revealed that he is the killer who is trying to avenge his father's death, and along the way he had to kill people who become obstacles or witnessed his crimes. Later in the story, Rahul meets Ruchi whilst in jail. She is a psychologist who had been framed for bribery. Both fall in love and try to prove each other innocent and search for the real killer in order to free Rahul.
