Elim Constituency (Omusati Region)

Elim constituency is located in the northern part of Namibia in Omusati Region. it is currently governed by honorable G.Shiimi. it is located in the north-west of Oshakati, south of Oshikuku and Okalongo ConstituenciesOmusati region constituencies. According to the report 2009 there is a population of 15210 inhabitants. further settlements in this constituency are Olupumbu and Ondangwa. According to the election results 2010, the population of 15000 contributed in the election, it is therefore found out that only 210 inhabitants in the constituency did not take part in the election that year. "Elim is the District settlement capital of Elim"encyclo (constituencies of Namibia,2004).

Elim Primary School is situated at the heart of the constituency in the north of Ashipala Senior Secondary Schools.the regional report 2004 Omusati Region on vegetation indicated that the constituency (Elim) is running out of vegetation especially Mopani tree that is to be regarded as the most plant in the constituencies in Omusati region . Some of the villages in Elim constituency are Olupumbu, onashiku, Iiyale, Iino, Olukulo and Ondangwa.

Elim has a pretty of livestock farming that is according to the agricultural report that was recently conducted in 2010. Omahangu is the principal crop in this constituency. There are some of the tourist attraction that you can visit in Elim where you will surely have a wonderful experience. Amongst the other 11 constituency in regionOmusati, Elim is one of those that is directly linked to other constituencies with a gravel road.
