I am Scott Calvin Weatherford, III.
I am a working camera operator and camera assistant in the film and tv industry. I have worked on nine feature length films, five of which i was a full time crew member, two commercials, two tv pilots, one documentary, countless short films, and will soon be starting my sixth feature. I graduated from the University of Texas in the fall of 2006 with my B.S. in Communication and have loved every minute of my young career thus far. I hope to one day become a unionized D.P./Camera Op card-holding member, and to work on both narrative and reality based shows all over the world, such as sporting events (i.e. the NHL, Premier League football, and F1 racing), nature shows (like Nature (TV series), Nova (TV series), and BBC's Planet Earth (TV series)), and documentaries (such as the Qatsi trilogy and Baraka (film)).
I play bass guitar, piano, and guitar, and am an avid reader.
I am also a painter and visual artist and am working on a website to share my artwork and DP and Operating Reels.
