Polyporus tuberaster is a species of fungi in the genus Polyporus.

Fruitbodies solitary or in small groups, on horizontal surfaces centrally stalked, on vertical surfaces laterally stalked. Cap round or kidney-shaped, convex or somewhat funnel-shaped, 2-12 cm diameter, 0.5-1.5 cm thick, fleshy when fresh; upper surface pale brown or straw-colored, with roughly concentric zones of brown scales dark and pointed at their tips; lower surface white or cream, pores angular or elongated, 1-2 mm diameter. Stalk 3-8 x 0.5 x 1.5 cm, straight or curved, whitish or pale ochraceous, finely hairy. Found on branches of deciduous trees and shrubs.[1]
