I am currently a senior at Lewis University studying Aircraft Maintenance Management. I'm on track to graduating one semester earlier than expected and I recently got hired by Skywest Airlines at O'Hare International Airport as a level 1 mechanic. I have always been fascinated by airplanes since the first time I flew on one and here I am fourteen years later following through with my dream. From a young age I never expected to be where I am right now because I was born and brought up in India for the first seven years of my life. My parents were blessed to have an opportunity to better our lives and did so by moving here in the winter of 2003.
