Misc

I am based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, UK, and am a longterm internet spod. I used to be a solicitor in real life but gave it up to play on the internet.

I originally did a degree in history, specialising in medievalism, before doing my masters in IT, specialising in e-commerce and internet usability. A lifetime of spoddery was not appealing however, so I became a lawyer for my sins- worst mistake I ever made....

I was attracted to Wikipedia by my love of general knowledge, and contributed anonymously for a bit before registering properly. My main areas currently are getting as much info about current and past English and Lancastrian cricketers onto the web, so sports geeks like me have something to read!

I also occasionally edit the TV related pages. I dip into legal stuff periodically as well. In more recent times, I have diversified into more sci-fi (I'm a lifelong Who spod) and current affairs pages.
