The Battle of Marshall was fought October 13, 1863, in Saline County, Missouri, as part of J. O. Shelby's Great Raid into Missouri, during the American Civil War. The battle marked the high tide of the raid for Shelby's men, with the remainder spent in flight back to Arkansas. Although listed as a battle, casualties were few.
