Mr Karamshi Vanpariya is a farmer in the village called Pipdi of Keshod taluka in Junagadh.

He has been practicing organic farming since 2004 having a total of 16 years of farming experience. He has started organic farming and continued it for all these years by getting inspiration from Newspapers, Magazines and Dharmik Sanstha. However, he is not practicing chemical farming for now. He owns a land of 15 bighas to practice farming. The local name of the farm is “Keshodna marg nu- Dhaar nu khetar”.

In the past few years, he has attended 2 organic farming meetings held in Gujarat and regularly keeps update of the discussion taken around organic farming. He also has certification from the organic products agencies like Jatan agency, Gopka and OneCert Organic. He has also done testing the quality of the crops with the Food Testing Lab in Junagadh.

He generally stays at the farm from morning to evening. Most of the farming work is done in the morning till 9 AM. Rest of the time he takes care of the animals and farms from any possible Danger. His family also helps him in farming and maintaining the farm.

In Spite of being an old generation farmer, he has kept new equipment for farming like tractor, water fountain pipes, pesticides and insecticides. He also uses digital technology for the welfare of the crops and the farm, getting in touch with various NGOs and agencies.

He grows multiple types of crops in all the seasons. Groundnut in Monsoon; jeeru, dhana and chana in winter; Mug, White tal and Black tal in Summer. The trading of the crops is done Directly to customers and through agencies like Shristi. Moreover, He takes part in multiple food festivals like "Satvik Food Festival" by selling his produced products directly to the consumers.
