Rebeka Polgar was born in Hungary, Szolnok (21st May 1994). She attended Verseghy Ferenc High School until leaving alone for the UK at age 16 and studied at Newbold college and Bracknell and Wokingham college before attending Royal Holloway University of London completing a Management with Accounting BSc in 2017. She supported herself during this period doing work mainly as a cleaner during her studies.

In 2023 along with her partner she was the 10th couple in history to be married officially in Antartica (link) and was appointed as an official marriage officer ( Gazette 2022/2 - British Antarctic Territory )

Rebeka is professionally a finance expert but is currently more well known for her passion and work in breast health.

Professional career

After graduating she joined Computing distribution group (CDG) where after 3 years she became the finance director. Rebeka started her own finance practice in 2020 alongside her role of Finance director at CDG where she focused on helping innovative tech startups control their finances. Some of her notable achievements include helping Arachnis consolidate its finances to enable a successful sale (AML RightSource Acquires Arachnys Information Services). As well as help Kapital move to integrating with Fauna and Flora international.

Breast Health

Rebeka is an active sports enthusiast competing in Muay Thai and K1 disciplines. In 2020 Rebeka had to undergo breast surgery due to injuries sustained from her sport and exercise alongside wearing unsupportive bras.

She began working alongside her professional career in breast health research and education. In 2023 she followed her passion in dedicating her career to the advancement of breast health awareness. She founded Tigers Eye Bra’s in 2023 to support women engage in high impact sports and critical services.

Rebeka works alongside Portsmouth University Research Group in Breast Health (Research Group in Breast Health | University of Portsmouth). Portsmouth University accredited Tigers Eye bra in 2024 as the #1 sports bra in the world when assessing both support and comfort. She received a patent for the Vault feature in 2023 (link)

Rebeka is actively working in informing woman about breast health and the implications of high impact activities in breast health and currently supports a PhD (Portsmouth University) study looking to deliver a sustainable education programme in schools. She is also organising and sponsoring the first global breast health conference.
