This is an essay. It contains the advice or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. This page is not an encyclopedia article, nor is it one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community. Some essays represent widespread norms; others only represent minority viewpoints. |
In addition to the enumerated criteria mentioned, G6 is commonly used to delete:
- Malformed filings to various processes, i.e Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/208.192.213.66, Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Edgenuity/1, Talk:Evan Rachel Wood/GA2
- More generally pages belonging to some specific process that the owner of that process thinks should be deleted, i.e Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Archives/Years. Wikipedia speedy deletion is deliberately a centralized process, with no delegation of authority.
- Empty "Wikipedia sockpuppets of foo" to Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Silopsone or Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of 63.155.58.123
In the opinion of the author of this essay, which is apparently not shared by any of the other admins monitoring speedy deletion, none of these pages actually meet the G6 criterion as worded.
