The Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lectureship, named for Eleanor Clarke Slagle, has been awarded annually since 1955 by the American Occupational Therapy Association, to an occupational therapist "who has creatively contributed to the development of the body of knowledge of the profession through research, education, and/or clinical practice." No lectureship was awarded in 1964, 1968, 1970, 1977, 1982, 1991, 1992, 1997, 2002, or 2020 (pandemic delayed, so two were awarded in 2021).[1]
