I have very little rhyme or reason for whatever I end up editing; I go where the rabbit holes drop me and usually just tidy up the phrasing and sources if they need it. Still learning the ropes with editing so apologies for any glaring errors.
I have a PhD in linguistics but the Dunning-Kruger effect means I usually actually avoid editing those particular articles in favour of ones about some weird comic book character that I was obsessed with as a teenager instead
