Hundreds of Beavers is a 2022 black-and-white American adventure comedy film written, produced, and directed by Mike Cheslik, starring Ryland Brickson Cole Tews, and Olivia Graves. It centers on an alcoholic applejack salesman who must fight against hundreds of marauding beavers.

Plot edit

A drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become North America's greatest fur trapper to defeat hundreds of beavers.

Cast edit

  • Ryland Brickson Cole Tews as Jean Kayak
  • Olivia Graves as The Furrier

Production edit

The original idea for Hundreds of Beavers came to filmmakers Mike Cheslik and Ryland Brickson Cole Tews in 2018.[2] At the time, Tews was filming his directorial debut Lake Michigan Monster (2018), which Cheslik had co-written, produced, and edited.[3][4] During the filming of a special effects sequence in the film, which was intentionally made "silent", the two discussed the potential of making an entire film based upon the aesthetic.[2]
