About the residence
editThe Purcell Residence is a student accomodation building located inside The University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna, British Columbia. The residence has single connected rooms that are fully furnished. It is the only residence with a rooftop at the UBCO campus. A snack and TV lounge is there on each floor where students can cook and spend time along with a common lunge and laundry room on the first floor.[1]
Rooms
editThe Purcell residence consists of rooms that are single-connected with a washroom and shower in the middle. The rooms have basic furniture including a study table, chair, and radiator for temperature control.[2] The rooms are spacious and have space for storage such as clothes and other person items.[2]

Rooftop
editPurcell resisdence is the only residence at the UBCO campus that has a rooftop terrace that can be accessed by its residents. Students love to spend time at the rooftop because of the beautiful view from the rooftop. There is furniture for the students to sit and enjoy their time at the rooftop and also a projector for student meetings, movie nights and other purposes[1]
Lounge
editThere is one TV and snack lounge on every floor of the purcell residence and a common lounge on the first floor. The lounge consists of a common refrigerator, common sink, a dinning table, a living area with basic furniture and a television. The common lounge can be accessed by all the residents and has a piano and two Table tennis set ups. The common Lounge is also used for most of the residence related and fesitive events.[1]
