I am a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Hampton, VA, and was heavily involved in its 400th anniversary (1610-2010) celebration. I and others are still looking for historical materials relating to St. John's, the City of Hampton, and the State of Virginia... especially prior to August 1861. Occasionally, this research has enabled me to contribute in a small way to other Virginia Wiki articles.
