Capybara and Human Interaction

edit

The capybara or Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris is the largest rodent in the world. They are mostly biddable animals but their large teeth can do serious damage when they bite a human, which is rare. Capybara bites, like most wild animal bites, spark the recommendation of antibiotic therapy, rabies and tetanus immunization, and localized care. [1]
