Nik Michael Imran bin Nik Ezar, (born 19 September 1989) is a Malaysian-Australian celebrity chef, restauranteur and a budding entrepreneur. Born in Brisbane, he grew up under the cooking influences of his father who was trained in Australia. This led to him developing an interest in cooking at a very young age. He started picking up cooking skills from his father at a tender age of 9 and supplemented his talents with professional cooking textbooks.

In 2011, Nik Michael was one of the 24 finalists drafted out of 500 contestants for the first season of MasterChef Malaysia. The show brought national spotlight to his cooking talent. With a bourgeoning cooking career, Nik Michael decided to put his business education on hold and focus on culinary arts. At the end of 2012, Nik Michael embarked on the culinary journey with his father, opening comfort food restaurant, PickNik in Kuala Lumpur (which now focuses on catering).

Chef Nik always pushes the boundaries of Fusion cuisine to bring more vibrant and tantalising creations to his catering business and cooking demonstrations. His engaging personality paired with the passion for extreme sports always spark conversations with a smile and some form of witty banter.
