Are you actually active and awaiting assignments? There are many open and assigned tasks that have stagnated. It would be sensible to reassign these to active members of the cleanup taskforce, but it is not immediately clear who these people might be.

If you are not active, please consider removing your details from the members lists. Otherwise, please add yourself to the following list (edit here). If you are currently assigned a task that you do not wish to (or can not) complete, please remove it from your desk and add it to this list.

Harald III of Norway edit

Harald III of Norway — manage and re-arrange content to remove duplicate information. Organize content a la Template:Biography. Adraeus July 6, 2005 21:19 (UTC)

Adding to my desk; will do as requested. Doesn't look too difficult. --NicholasTurnbull 7 July 2005 01:17 (UTC)

Added to User:NicholasTurnbull/Desk --NicholasTurnbull 7 July 2005 01:17 (UTC)
Actually, after a bit of research, I've found that the majority of the article content is actually a direct copyvio from the 1963 Britannica (not the public domain 1911 edition). Moreover, the references cited contain none of the article content!. I shall thus do a full rewrite. --NicholasTurnbull 18:22, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
Rewrite appears to have been done. Closing. -- Beland 23:07, 17 August 2005 (UTC)

Omnipotence paradox edit

I worked on this article several months ago. Checking in to see how it had developed since then, I can only say that it has devolved into a mishmash of "original research", to use the phrase loosely. I'm sure there's wheat within the chaff, but I don't have the time (or the courage) to seek it all myself.

Here's an interesting observation: I was Googling for articles to reference on the subject, and came up with this tidbit. I read it over and said to myself, "Hmm, this seems familiar." Sure enough, at he bottom of the page . . . "The source of this article is Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The text of this article is licensed under the GFDL." Ben Babcock 12:48, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
Ahem, yes. There isn't much to do . . . I indicated on the talk page that I think it is ready to be closed but would appreciate a second opinion. Ben Babcock 2 July 2005 07:21 (UTC)
Hmmm... interesting article subject. Difficult one to tackle in a suitably NPOV way, as the subject itself tends to tread on religious toes rather easily. Will review this article shortly and edit as appropriate. I notice that an NPOV warning banner is still on the page, so there might be more that needs doing than meets the eye.--NicholasTurnbull 2 July 2005 18:20 (UTC)
Have done some cleanup work on the article and made a few minor improvements. There wasn't much more to be done; the article was already of a high standard. I am satisfied with the quality of this article now, and I can't find any NPOV issues that I haven't corrected. I am hereby closing this task.--NicholasTurnbull 3 July 2005 22:19 (UTC)

Microwave radio relay (formerly Radio relay link) edit

A mchine translation, needs cleanup and wikification. --Dmcdevit 30 June 2005 22:02 (UTC)

I should be able to wikify/copyedit this one from the original German article; placing on my desk. --NicholasTurnbull 30 June 2005 22:32 (UTC)

Well, I've made a "first pass" at translating/proofing this article; it looks fairly respectable now. Will do more style and grammar work on it shortly; however, I'm starting to think that the original article wasn't more than an overgrown stub on the subject to begin with (and not a particularly good one, either) so it may require a complete overhaul anyway. --NicholasTurnbull 1 July 2005 17:35 (UTC)
After doing a bit of research, the title of this article "radio relay link" was an incorrect direct translation of the German name, and actually the proper English name used for this technology is microwave radio relay. Someone has placed a merge notice on Radio relay link, Microwave radio relay, and Over horizon radio relay link that they should all be merged together. I think they are right; I am going to merge all three into Microwave radio relay shortly (not a problem since Microwave radio relay is nothing but a substub).--NicholasTurnbull 3 July 2005 01:25 (UTC)
Merge and cleanup operation complete. Radio relay link and over horizon radio link have now been copyedited and merged into Microwave radio relay. I am now satisfied with this article, and I am closing this item.--NicholasTurnbull 5 July 2005 19:08 (UTC)
