A wonderful place Mokoju peak This is a beautiful place in Kamphaeng Phet province but it not famous as other areas,because people don't known where is it.The word "Mokoju" is from the Karen language,(“Karen are the tribe who occupy the highland area”). It means that it will rain because the peak is often covered by clouds and it is cold all the time, especially during the winter months. Mokoju peak is located in Mae Wong National Park in Kamphaeng Phet and it is close to the Wildlife Umphang Sanctuary. It is the highest peak in the Western Forest (it is 1,964 meters above sea level). Mokoju peak is a popular destination for many travelers, who will retain the impression for a lifetime. If you like hiking , you might find a special food from Mokoju which is a vegetable fern, it is very delicious. Another special place in Mokoju is Mae Rewa Waterfall it has very clean water and usually very mild weather. Mokoju peak is a wonderful place and in the future it maybe a famous tourist attraction of Thailand.

Travel

From Bangkok, take Highway number 1 turn left at kilometers 338 on Highway number 1117 from Khlong LanUmphang. At the intersection, go straight into Khlong Lan 19 kilometers to the park office. And take Highway 1072 from Yao-Lan. At the intersection, turn left to the park or take buses (Bangkok - Khlong) go to the Lan market, Then chartered minibus or motorcycle to the park.
