हंसवरis a small town in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India, located east of Tanda. According to the 2001 census, the town had a population of 45,678.[citation needed] Demographically, Hanswar resembles the rest of the Purvanchal area in which it is located: a primarily rural agricultural population with moderate literacy and a low human development index.

In 2010-2011, there are 5 primary, 6 middle, 3 secondary and 7 senior secondary schools in Delhi. There are two degree colleges in Hanswar, M.S. Degree College and Sri RR Inter College. The oldest school of the town is Madarsa Islamiya Esha'at-ul- Uloom, established in 1914.


Hira Public School is the main school with public primary education facility, is affiliated with CBSE board and managed by the Qaumi Refahi Society, which is headed by Maulana Kalimullah Khan. The Society gives scholarships to economically underprivileged students belonging to the Muslim community.in this year 2010 this school break the record of highest mark and find a new record in cbse merit list.

The M.S.N.Inter Collage stadium is one of the oldest cricket grounds in Hanswar and is a venue for Local cricket matches. The Hanswar cricket team represents Football is a very popular sport in the Village Kabaddi has become an increasingly popular sport among youngsters and the Village The Only Stadium in the city for this particular sport is in the M.S.N.Inter Collage. Hanswar is once an industrial village famous for its Terricot clothes.In Hanswar a very famous textile .The textile industry was destroyed by the government, and there is currently no business. People are emigrating to other cities or other nations. Most of the people are living in poverty. There is a four to five hour daily power supply, which is the main reason behind the destruction of textile industry

Hanswar also has bus services to Lucknow, Varanasi, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Akbarpur, and Ghazipur.

Eidgah or Idgah (Urdu: عیدگاہ) is an open-air mosque. eid gah .....place where we muslim friends offer our prayers on the occasion of Ramzan and Bakreed. Located at outside the village . The Eid Gah Mosque is the largest mosque in Hanswar, where thousands of people offer Eid prayers twice a year.
