Dubai food city is the new free zone development project in Dubai[1], which is currently in planning stages.The food city will be able to hold 400-500 companies[2] , it is meant for the wholesale food merchants.Dubai food city is currently in planning stages, at an estimated cost of $ 200 million (AED 734 million), its first phase is expected to be completed in 2012, The project will be built on a 5 million square foot[3].
