The Love Story of Bajaj and Vaid

edit

Sagar Bajaj, 33, and his wife Saloni Vaid, 31, named their food delivery service Salsa Kitchen by blending their names—SALoni and SAgar. Sagar is the Culinary Head at First Fiddle Chain of Restaurants, while Saloni manages visual content for a media house. They launched Salsa Kitchen in June 2020 from their home in New Friends Colony, creating a boutique kitchen offering a personalized culinary experience.

Salsa Kitchen stands out with its customizations, allowing clients to collaborate with the chef on bespoke dishes. With over 50 successful private events, the venture adapts its menu to market trends and seasonal specials.

Their journey began in 2018 via an online matrimonial site, leading to a deep connection. “I was captivated by her voice and the sparkle in her eyes,” says Sagar. They married on October 14, 2019, and soon faced the lockdown, which led them to start Salsa Kitchen. Despite initial apprehension, the positive response solidified their commitment.

In the wake of COVID-19, Salsa Kitchen operates with a limited staff and a focus on hygiene and safety. Saloni handles brand development and creative aspects, while Sagar focuses on culinary expertise and client relations. They’ve learned much about each other through their venture, balancing their differing temperaments to avoid clashes.

Looking ahead, the couple plans to expand Salsa Kitchen and explore new gourmet brands. Their shared passion for food and quality time together, including daily movie nights, fuels their vision for the future.[8]
