MARLEY TJITJO

Marley Tjitjo was born in Namibia and received his tertiary education in South Africa where he obtained the degrees of B.Bdg and B.Arch from the University of Port Elizabeth. Mr Tjitjo is a registered Architect with the Namibia council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors (NCAQS). He is the Principal and Director of Marley Tjitjo Architects based in Windhoek, Namibia.

Skilfully combining the complexity of science with the art of design, Marley Tjitjo Architects (MTA) offers spacious and functional solutions to suit any brief within the sphere of commercial, residential, industrial and institutional property markets. There are a medium sized architectural studio employing architects and architectural technicians. Their projects range from schools to houses and have also included a prison and a diamond factory.

It is one such residential project that led to Marley Tjitjo receiving an award from the International Property Awards held in London. He won in the best single unit category. The house is called House Karamata.

The Europe & Africa Property Awards 2010 in association with Bloomberg Television is part of the international Property Awards. Established 16 years ago, it is the world’s largest most prestigious competition and has the prime aim of seeking out the best real estate professionals across the globe in both residential and commercial categories.

Marley tjitjo Architects have undertaken various projects under the supervision of Mr. Tjitjo. Some of their previous clients includes, Motor Vehicle Accident Fund of Namiba, City of Windhoek, Namibia Airports company, Kenya High Commisssion and the list goes on.
