Retail Sunshine is a comic strip first launched in February of 2008 by Phil Machi, Artist and Founder of Livestock Productions[1]. The strip is Sitcom in nature, based predominantly on situations from employees working in a consumer electronics store such as Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. It attempts to be family friendly in nature. The comic uses stick figures with heft and brief splashes of color to create a look similar to that of a coloring book.

In March 2010, Livestock Productions released a Thanksgiving- and Christmas-themed hardcover book titled "'Twas the Day After Turkey," a parody of the famous children's poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas," in which the characters of the strip have to endure Black Friday. It was written in the fall of 2009, leading up to that year's holiday shopping season.

Retail Sunshine is featured in the internal Best Buy employee magazine "The Link." It has also been shown at the Black Swamp Arts Festival and Art Walk in Bowling Green, OH[2].

The strips can be read online[3], or purchased in groups of 13 in higher quality via "Mini-Books" from the website directly on the Store page[4].
