History
editIn 2014, Wood Group and Siemens Energy Services received the necessary regulatory approvals to close a joint venture between the Gas Turbine Services (GTS) business of Wood Group and the Siemens Energy Service TurboCare business unit. The new joint venture was named EthosEnergy and provides rotating equipment service for the power, oil and gas, aerospace and industrial sectors. [2]
The company has established affiliate and partnership relationships with KazTurboRemont (KTR), Wood Group Pratt and Whitney (WGPW), Shanahan Engineering and GTE (Gas Turbine Efficiency). [3] [4]
In 2019, Ana Amicarella replaced Mark Dobler as head of EthosEnergy. Dobler had been CEO since 2014. [5]
In 2021, EthosEnergy and Italian technical school Politecnico di Torino partnered to develop hydrogen turbine conversion technology. [6]

editIn December 2019, Ana Amicarella was appointed CEO to take EthosEnergy into its next stage of strategic development and position the company for growth. By 2020 Amicarella restructured the business to better align with customers and current market dynamics and led EthosEnergy to its best financial year to date putting the company on track for ambitious growth over the next five-years.
