Purni Suder Shah

A village in jammu and kashmir of district Budgam tehsil narbal. The village is located behind railway station mazhom on its east side. It is a small village and only few generations have been living here. The first person who came and settled here was Abdul Ahad Mir S/O Abdul Habib Mir whose ancestor's lived in kanihama. Now the village is comprising of around 45-50 households. The only link road which joins the village to other part of the district is through archanderhama.

Before the new generations who came here the village is said to be dwelled by people during ancient times; who might have left or being annihilated by some devastating havoc. As different kinds of remains can be seen while digging in farms; such as vessels made of terracotta.

The village PURNI SUDER SHAH is named after a Sufi Saint Suder Shah who is said to have been buried here. Purn is a kashmiri word which means a dwelling place and thus PURNI SUDER SHAH means dwelling place of Sufi saint Suder Shah.
