Yvonne McGuinness (born 1972, Kilkenny, Ireland) is a London-based visual artist who works in a variety of contexts, including video installation and print. Her works have been shown in Ireland and the U.K., and she holds an MA from the Royal College of Art in London.[1]

A 2004 biography stated, "Recent works have been preoccupied with notions of portrayal of the self and with deception, dealing with the sublimated desire for self-expression of the artist and the tension between revelation and concealment." [2]

McGuinness is the daughter of Irish Fianna Fáil Party politician John J. McGuinness.[3] She married long-time boyfriend film star Cillian Murphy in 2004, with whom she has a young son, Malachy.[4]
