The first child of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is due to be born from March-May 2019.[1] On 15 October 2018, it was announced in a royal press release that they were expecting the birth of their child, and an estimate of a Spring 2019[a] delivery date was given.[2] The Queen was informed of the news at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank on 12 October 2018, and personally congratulated the Duke and Duchess.[3] The announcement made headlines worldwide.
