He has worked as Live DI Colorist & Post Production Supervisor on many feature films and commercials an including Ponniyin Selvan: I, Indian 2 ,Thug Life & The Greatest of All Time Thug Life known for his works primarily in Tamil, and Telugu films. He pursued a bachelor degree in visual communication from Loyola College and did his Masters degree in Business Management from Kingston university, London,United Kingdom.
Career
editManoj Hemachandar started his career as a Trainee in Gemini Colour Lab's post-production department in 2017, and worked in films like Vivegam, Dhuruva Natchathiram, Vada Chennai etc as an Intern. As a Live Grading Colorist, he made his debut film BIGIL (2019[1]), kicked off his career as Live grading Colorist and coordinator. After successfully completing Vijay's Bigil, He got to work with Mani Ratnam's Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan: I & Ponniyin Selvan: II [2] also assited Cinematographer Ravivarman through out the project, followed by PS-1 & PS 2 , Manoj got an opportunity to travel with DOP Ravivarman as his personal On set colourist. His notable filmography includes Director Shankar's Indian 2[3] & Indian 3, Vignesh shivan's Love Insurance Kompany (LIK)[4], Venkat Prabhu's The Greatest of All Time[5], Mani Ratnam's Thug Life[6]
