Celiac crisis is severe condition in which celiac disease causes acute metabolic derangements.[1][2] manifestations and complications of celiac crisis include severe diarrhea, hypoproteinemia, and Acidosis and electrolyte disturbances significant enough to require hospitalization.[3][4] it can as well present with hypokalemia, hyperglycemia, polyuria,[5] bleeding,[2]calcium deficiency,[6] and tetany.[2] it can also present with neurological symptoms such as cerebellar ataxia,[7] paralysis,[8][6][9] and quadriplegia.[10]
