DanceNexus is a crowdsourced online search and review platform for dance studios, schools and instructors. It intends to simplify search and selection of lessons for anyone interested in dancing. The website’s knowledge base provides additional resources on dancing in general, as well as psychology, biomechanics, and neuroscience of dance, such as research articles, quotes, exercises.

The startup company currently operates on a non-profit basis. The services are free for all users. Anyone can search and choose dance studios based on offered dance styles, location, photos, or reviews. Upon registration, they can leave their own comments and reviews. The studio owners, in turn, can employ the portal’s tools to add or claim the listings, edit details, add photos and videos. Still in its early days, the portal already lists nearly 40 000 of estimated total 120 000 dance schools worldwide, offering instruction in a range of dance styles from ballet and jazz through ballroom and hip-hop, and up to Irish or belly dancing.

The news about the portal have recently been picked up by several major PR distribution sites. [1][2][3][4][5][6]
